本片改编自真实故事，1959年，记者艾德为了见到偶像海明威，只身到古巴探险。海明威与她的妻子玛丽隐居在那里的一处地产上。艾德见到了海明威，并和他成为了朋友，他们一起钓鱼，饮酒，畅谈。虽然时值古巴革命战争期间，艾德还是从这几年的生活中学到了许多哲理，而且明白一切英雄都也只是普通人。。This October 31st, All Hallow's Eve is changed forever for one sleepy little town when three youngsters team up to overthrow an alien invasion by sending those witches back from whence they came.
